Receipt
The signed record of one verification run: what was tested, against which rubric, when, and what was found.
A receipt carries the hash of the exact artefact tested, the rubric version, each check and its result, a findings summary, a timestamp and an expiry, all signed.
It is public, it can be embedded on a maker's own site, and because it is signed a forged badge can be detected rather than merely doubted.
It makes trust portable. A maker gets something worth having whether or not they ever sell a copy here.
Trusting a badge image. The image is decoration; the receipt behind it is the artefact, and it is worth one click to check.
