Vanillaskyai Video
vanillaskyai · App
VanillaSky is an open-source React SDK for spoken video conversations in AI applications. A short chapter introduction starts the answer while footage prepares, then narrated clips play in order as the response is generated. The model streams an answer brief and shot directions rather than component code, and your application keeps its own models, keys, authentication, storage and spending. It is in beta and suits developers adding video answers to an AI chat.

Why it's useful
Answers in your AI chat can arrive as narrated video clips instead of plain text, while your app keeps control of models, keys and spending.
What you could do with it
- Create a starter project, add a text model key and run a spoken video chat on localhost.
- Add stock or generated footage through your own adapter, starting from the fal, Google or Runway references.
- Connect an assistant you already run so its finished answer becomes the source for the video.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 0.11.3, the file with digest sha512-EH52Fd7MLcUz3LyzjLpRd90oW/rgzhMGHbf7tkDz4pacDKg+XnK4amxc69FGNY0KI7i+UcKq6bIKifNkjhTqAg==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
