Unifi MCP

us-all · MCP server

UniFi MCP adds analysis on top of the UniFi Cloud API for people who manage many sites. Its Site Manager tools build site health timelines, summaries, firmware inventories, site comparisons, WAN uptime trends and top clients by bandwidth, and every analysis returns a severity with a reason. It also includes eight workflow prompts for fleet operations and managed-service-provider tasks, plus optional direct LAN access to port error and port flap data.

Written by ooruby from the README of @us-all/unifi-mcp 1.13.3.

Not claimed by its maker. Is this yours? Prove it and answer the findings

Why it's useful

You get severity-rated answers about a whole fleet of UniFi sites in one conversation instead of reading raw numbers site by site.

What you could do with it

  1. 1Ask for a fleet health check across all your UniFi sites and get anything not healthy flagged by severity.
  2. 2Find devices on outdated firmware across every site, grouped by site with current and latest versions.
  3. 3Rank switch ports by instability and check SFP signal readings, using the optional local controller access.

Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.

Maintenance

Not measured

No release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.

Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured

How far this has been checked

Static scanned

What it establishes
Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
What it does not
How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
Exactly what was read
Version 1.13.3, the file with digest sha512-/QdGEudQ0qWbIrOuE4pv9lU759uPwm5JuP5fzCqZxARc+QXTBGAirfq2TTozlwN6OMai/Ur1cjWs2VfOXSXy4Q==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
Authentication
Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
