Midjourney MCP CLI
thenavidm · MCP server
Connects your AI assistant to your Midjourney account so it can turn a written brief into finished image files. It submits prompts, waits for the renders and downloads the real files to disk, so the next step in a pipeline has something to open. It can also vary one image from a grid, re-run a job, list recent jobs and the queue, and create and fill moodboards. You sign in once in a window, and generating asks for confirmation. The same tools are also a command line program.

Why it's useful
A written brief becomes finished image files on your disk, without you waiting on renders or saving each image by hand.
What you could do with it
- Ask for a 16:9 hero image of a red fox asleep in snow with a muted palette, and save the files.
- Make a moodboard for cold Nordic product shots, fill it, then generate a jar of face cream in that style.
- Download everything you generated today into a folder, ready for the next step in a pipeline.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 2.0.1, the file with digest sha512-fchkTjf61grtaoC5iW0rJ3Y2OZtYlPnLBFlhwg64aGAD3xZYRQ4n0TCtixdEejB+g8NZrzjhHkKhbdBQ0tugSw==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
