Selat CLI

selat-ai · Agent

SELAT CLI is a setup helper and runner for SELAT agent payments. One command finds paid endpoints that match a plain-language intent, ranks them and pays for the chosen call, and it can pin an exact endpoint, fill in its parameters and show the plan as a dry run first. It also lists, installs and runs agent skills, and checks that the Circle CLI and your setup are in place. Payments follow the x402 and prepaid-token models in USDC through the SELAT Router, from an agent wallet that you sign in to by email and fund.

Why it's useful

Your agent can buy API calls on its own while you cap what it spends with a session budget and a per-call ceiling.

What you could do with it

  1. 1Describe what you need, run a dry run to see the payment plan, then pay for the chosen endpoint.
  2. 2Compare several candidate services side by side with a live price probe that does not pay anything.
  3. 3Install an agent skill by name from the public skills registry and run it with its parameters.

Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.

Maintenance

Not measured

No release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.

Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured

Not yet tested
Command execution is bounded
inventory
node child_process (lib/sh.mjs:5)
synchronous shell execution (lib/sh.mjs:60)
An inventory of where the code starts another program, not a verdict on this row: whether each one runs a fixed program or whatever it is handed takes a reading by hand.

Published because it was found. A finding is information about where the limits are, not a verdict that the software is unsafe.

What this does not cover

  • ·Everything. Treat it as you would software from anywhere else.

Receipt history: every signed receipt for every version of this listing, and what changed between them.

In its maker's words

Setup helper and runner for SELAT agent payments. Bundles the selat-discovery skill and selat-pay as dependencies; checks Circle CLI and config separately.

How far this has been checked

Static scanned

What it establishes
Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
What it does not
How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
Exactly what was read
Version 0.17.13, the file with digest sha512-53fdRqY65wV3C0dS61Cm6A2bDui/uX/Y7g+0cQW24fLavDCMY4Pc3/9L1bTb91+5GMAcGil1wx4xlf0tMKfyDg==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
Authentication
Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.

Adding it

Run it with:

npx -y @selat-ai/selat-cli@0.17.13

Pinned to 0.17.13, which is the version the findings above were found in. Drop the version to take whatever is newest, and the report on this page stops describing what you installed.
