Clopen
myrialabs · Agent
Clopen is a web workspace for AI coding agents. Each chat session can use a different one of eight supported coding agent engines, with checkpoints that let you undo and redo across your conversation without touching git history. Alongside the chat are a terminal, git management, a file editor, a live browser preview your agent can drive, and a database client for PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB and Redis. Several people can work in the same codebase and see who is on which project. It needs Bun and at least one coding agent signed in.

Why it's useful
Chat, terminal, git, browser preview and a database client sit in one workspace, so you switch between fewer windows while an agent works.
What you could do with it
- Switch the engine for a chat session, and set the reasoning effort from the chat box using that engine's own levels.
- Let your agent drive the live browser preview to click, type and scroll through your app for visual testing.
- Roll back to any point in an AI conversation with a checkpoint, without touching your actual git history.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured
- Command execution is bounded
- inventory
- synchronous shell execution (backend/module-shadowing.test.ts:36)
- dynamic Function constructor (backend/preview/browser/browser-console-manager.ts:544)
- eval (backend/mcp/README.md:119)
- An inventory of where the code starts another program, not a verdict on this row: whether each one runs a fixed program or whatever it is handed takes a reading by hand.
Published because it was found. A finding is information about where the limits are, not a verdict that the software is unsafe.
What this does not cover
- Everything. Treat it as you would software from anywhere else.
Corrected after a reading by hand on 2026-10-10
- No shipped credentials: the automated note “The scan matched 7 credential-shaped strings in the published files. Location withheld pending disclosure to the maker.” was withdrawn. Test values in its redaction tests and an integration test: AWS's documented example key, tokens spelled from abc and 1234, and a short sample key block.
Receipt history: every signed receipt for every version of this listing, and what changed between them.

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 0.4.45, the file with digest sha512-OvhQfCuK+U19jA7T9hXQevXWe+DPDDc6j7bB8ABf5hIJrWHoI57deaxdw45aRvwMmJlX8w+6gewfREVVDx3jXg==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
