Shopify MCP
miller-joe · MCP server
Shopify MCP connects your AI assistant to a Shopify store through the Admin GraphQL API. Your agent can list, read, create and update products, read orders and customers, set inventory quantities, manage draft orders, webhooks, metafields and metaobjects, and handle fulfilments with tracking. It also pairs with a ComfyUI server: ask for a new product and it generates an image in ComfyUI, creates the product and attaches the image. You need a Shopify admin API access token, and ComfyUI for the image feature.

Why it's useful
Everyday store tasks such as product listings, stock counts and fulfilment can be done by asking your agent, with images generated on request.
What you could do with it
- Ask for a new draft product with a generated cosmic image, a matching description and tags.
- List recent orders with a query filter, then mark fulfilment orders as fulfilled with tracking and a customer notice.
- Set the on-hand inventory quantity of a product at a chosen store location.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 0.2.0, the file with digest sha512-GKlYUh4CUsIh+2sNKrDnu5uhLtTpyIpsrFn0O0jRkrF/zR74Wki9Kb7YvDPUcY0Fnd/47mFd9XvEfVnOZAM+wg==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
