Walmart MCP
hasdata · MCP server
Gives your AI assistant Walmart search, product and review data through HasData's hosted service, reading public Walmart pages. It can search by keyword or category, read an item page with brand, price, unit price, availability, specifications, the buy-box seller and competing offers, and read the review feed with ratings, full text, verified-purchase flags and helpful votes. You need a HasData API key, free to create, and each call costs 10 credits, or 15 when competing offers are included; no Walmart developer account is needed.

Why it's useful
Your agent can compare prices, sellers and customer feedback on Walmart items without a Walmart developer account.
What you could do with it
- Find laptop stands under 30 dollars on Walmart and sort them by price.
- Check what an item costs right now, who holds the buy box and what other sellers charge with shipping.
- Pull only the verified-purchase reviews of an item and summarise the complaints.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured
- Command execution is bounded
- inventory
- node child_process (index.mjs:5)
- An inventory of where the code starts another program, not a verdict on this row: whether each one runs a fixed program or whatever it is handed takes a reading by hand.
Published because it was found. A finding is information about where the limits are, not a verdict that the software is unsafe.
What this does not cover
- Everything. Treat it as you would software from anywhere else.
Receipt history: every signed receipt for every version of this listing, and what changed between them.
In its maker's words
MCP server for Walmart through HasData's hosted API: keyword and category search, product pages with the buy box and other sellers, and the review feed with its filter block. No Walmart developer account. 1,000 free credits every month.

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 1.0.2, the file with digest sha512-OX2h+IPMLePsULb/n5spqe7K6SXaXNlMMlxT00xi1H+Wc2NVKWMMHS0+N8+JKrCauToItVLkKeSKmObfGzEVhA==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Auth declared. Its hosted endpoint, as the official MCP registry lists it, asks for a key or a token before it will talk.
