Google Images MCP
hasdata · MCP server
Reads the Google Images results page a signed-out visitor sees, through HasData's hosted service. Your AI assistant can run an image search with size, colour and type filters, a country, language and device setting, and page through the results, getting each image's title, thumbnail, dimensions, source domain, source page and full-resolution file. You need a HasData API key, free to create, and each call costs 5 credits; no Google account or Cloud project is needed.

Why it's useful
Your agent can gather image candidates along with their source pages and full-resolution files without a Google account.
What you could do with it
- Find images of a landmark and keep only the ones over 1500 pixels wide.
- See which sites are ranking images for a product name.
- Get black and white photographs for a query while skipping clipart and line art.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured
- Command execution is bounded
- inventory
- node child_process (index.mjs:5)
- An inventory of where the code starts another program, not a verdict on this row: whether each one runs a fixed program or whatever it is handed takes a reading by hand.
Published because it was found. A finding is information about where the limits are, not a verdict that the software is unsafe.
What this does not cover
- Everything. Treat it as you would software from anywhere else.
Receipt history: every signed receipt for every version of this listing, and what changed between them.
In its maker's words
MCP server for Google Images through HasData's hosted API: image search with size, colour and type filters, returning 100 results a call with the source page and the full-resolution URL. 1,000 free credits every month.

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 1.0.3, the file with digest sha512-QZyZBOI/azWDBK1sUGxl1rtT0I36lDZmNzdMcsMqkSQjgcl718DipaZWgzuyYLMzImN8akwR9BhskvVAX8DSZA==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Auth declared. Its hosted endpoint, as the official MCP registry lists it, asks for a key or a token before it will talk.
