Facebook MCP
hasdata · MCP server
Reads public Facebook pages that a signed-out visitor can see, through HasData's hosted service. Give your AI assistant a page username or numeric id and it gets the page record with name, category, bio, likes, followers, contact details and owner, plus the post feed with reactions, comments and shares. Groups and private personal accounts are out of scope. You need a HasData API key, free to create, and each call costs 10 credits; no Meta developer app is needed.

Why it's useful
Your agent can check a brand's public Facebook presence and how people react to its posts without a Meta developer app.
What you could do with it
- Pull the contact details and the confirmed owner of a Facebook page.
- Read the last ten posts on a page and see which got the most shares.
- Compare the reaction mix on one brand's posts with a competitor's.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured
- Command execution is bounded
- inventory
- node child_process (index.mjs:5)
- An inventory of where the code starts another program, not a verdict on this row: whether each one runs a fixed program or whatever it is handed takes a reading by hand.
Published because it was found. A finding is information about where the limits are, not a verdict that the software is unsafe.
What this does not cover
- Everything. Treat it as you would software from anywhere else.
Receipt history: every signed receipt for every version of this listing, and what changed between them.
In its maker's words
MCP server for Facebook through HasData's hosted API: a public page or profile by handle with likes, followers, contact details and the post feed with reactions, paged three posts at a time. No Meta developer app. 1,000 free credits every month.

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 1.0.3, the file with digest sha512-FrxCCM/ce9w7ULe2Ots+Bb6U8pcDYP6cuUfGRgbycC6WvhXtcItQ8eFb5o21/RutqPStQKWuBoZXqnO05LUrQg==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Auth declared. Its hosted endpoint, as the official MCP registry lists it, asks for a key or a token before it will talk.
