Sma1lboy Rove
sma1lboy · Agent
Rove is an agent multiplexer for your terminal. You add a repository, and each task becomes a git worktree with its own branch and hosted engine sessions, so several coding agents can work in parallel. A terminal interface shows the workspace, while the sessions run in a separate process and survive closing the interface or restarting the background daemon. A command line API can create tasks, send prompts and list sessions without the interface open. It runs on the Bun runtime.

Why it's useful
Parallel agent tasks stay separated by branch and worktree, and their sessions keep running if you close the interface.
What you could do with it
- Add a repository and create a task so the work gets its own worktree and branch.
- Create a task with a prompt from a script, with no terminal interface open, to start an agent on it.
- Send a follow-up prompt, such as running the tests, to a task that is already running.

Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured
- Licence and provenance
- finding
- no LICENCE file at the root (.)

- no statement of what it reads, writes or sends (README.md)
Published because it was found. A finding is information about where the limits are, not a verdict that the software is unsafe.

In its maker's words

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 0.9.244, the file with digest sha512-EfHc90umBPRLJKJHznzlV0/5N5Zc21rlfZnaUV9uXGsIIlw3jvcMNtGk9k43W2Kdca1tyiwIIuzWA/CZy5qMLw==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
Adding it
