Checks shell commands, file access and tool calls from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex against a policy.
Github Action
scopebond · Agent
Scopebond's GitHub Action, an experimental alpha for controlled test use only, checks every pull request that a known coding-agent bot opens against a policy file you keep in the repository. Make it a required check and a pull request that breaks the policy, for example by touching production paths, cannot merge, except for actors with ruleset bypass rights. Pull requests from people are not evaluated. Optional signing with your own key writes a signed receipt for each decision, and receipts can be mirrored to a separate hosted workspace.

Why it's useful
Agent pull requests meet a rule you wrote in advance, and one that breaks it fails a required check instead of merging.
What you could do with it
- Add the check to a workflow and make it a required status check so agent pull requests have to pass your policy.
- Write a policy that stops agents touching production paths, and keep policy changes behind a reviewed human pull request.
- Set a signing key as a repository secret to get a signed receipt for each pull request head, verifiable offline.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured
What this does not cover
- Everything. Treat it as you would software from anywhere else.
Receipt history: every signed receipt for every version of this listing, and what changed between them.
In its maker's words
Free, open-source policy checks for supported agent pull requests in your own GitHub Actions runner. A required check gates merge; optional signing creates a verifiable decision record.

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 0.5.11, the file with digest sha512-GEB1DXdH/5esg3urIp3qadm2F21O7PJEOe38y5QBYr6QDLiPWFzUyhl/f9CiZBHcX5Bs/TC5TRFfK3dUVG2mAQ==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
