Turns a Markdown file into one offline HTML file that holds the whole Rapier editor and the document.
Rapier Embed
jackskip · Agent
Rapier Embed puts the Rapier Markdown reader or document editor inside your web app. The reader shows documents read-only with search, an outline and reading settings, and opens Word and PDF files. The editor adds formatted and source views, comments, compare and revision-checked saves. With the agent option switched on, your app's own agent edits documents through WebMCP, which the browser must support, while the person reviews the edits. It suits developers who want document editing with agent help inside their product.

Why it's useful
You add a document editor or reader to your product without building one, and an agent can edit inside it while a person stays in review.
What you could do with it
- Show agent briefs or reports in a read-only reader inside your app, styled with your own CSS and fonts.
- Let people edit Markdown in your app and keep your own storage, with saves checked against revisions.
- Turn on the agent option so your app's agent edits a document while the person reviews the edits.

Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured
What this does not cover
- Everything. Treat it as you would software from anywhere else.
Receipt history: every signed receipt for every version of this listing, and what changed between them.
In its maker's words
Embed the Rapier Markdown editor or its lightweight reader (about 190 kB) in your web app. Runs offline from your own copy, saves to your storage, and takes your CSS and fonts. Your app's AI agent edits over WebMCP, under the person's review. MIT, no depe

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 1.1.90, the file with digest sha512-B4UNzeVJNajIDlKaT5OsFZ6oIb2LA34osKpBLEAHUpWVcBDiXpKJq+NyJJw+gGM/6wU3vX8xygvDV5e6OOoOQQ==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
Adding it
Run it with:
npx -y rapier-embed@1.1.90Pinned to 1.1.90, which is the version the findings above were found in. Drop the version to take whatever is newest, and the report on this page stops describing what you installed.
