Pull a public company's reported financials, XBRL facts and filings from SEC EDGAR.
MCP Insider Trading
pipeworx · MCP server
SEC EDGAR insider and ownership filings for US-listed companies are available to your AI assistant, read live from EDGAR full-text search. It lists Form 4 insider transactions, 8-K material events with item codes decoded into things like earnings, acquisitions, officer departures and delistings, and Schedule 13D and 13G filings showing which investor crossed five per cent and when. A summary tool combines all three, and a company can be given by ticker, name or CIK.

Why it's useful
Your agent can check insider activity and ownership changes for a listed company straight from SEC filings, by ticker, name or CIK.
What you could do with it
- Ask your agent for a company's recent Form 4 filings and who filed them, with links to EDGAR.
- Check a company's latest 8-K filings and have the item codes explained, such as earnings or officer departures.
- Get one summary of 90 days of Form 4 and 8-K filings and a year of 13D and 13G filings for a ticker.

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 0.1.2, the file with digest sha512-LMBBjF252Aq5fcxCMKMsZ7t5hJPp2SmTtpMKBrmspLW/cud0V4MUH+t5yJDm8QqrnUBeFc2quQBA7oiK9TdScQ==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
