Enquire MCP gives an AI agent persistent long-term memory by indexing a local Obsidian markdown vault. Search blends BM25 keyword ranking, embeddings and optional cross-encoder reranking, with a wikilink graph signal, multilingual semantic search, PDF results with page citations and an evaluation harness for retrieval quality. Its 46 tools include note reading, community detection over linked notes and gated writes, and it can also run as a remote HTTP service with bearer authentication.
