Adds Storybook component and story documentation tools to an MCP server you run yourself.
Memwal MCP
mysten-incubation · MCP server
Connects your AI assistant to the Walrus Memory relayer without you setting up remote headers or auth tokens by hand. On first use it offers a login tool that opens a browser-based wallet login and saves the credentials locally, and a logout tool clears them. Memories are kept on Walrus storage, which is append-only, so a saved memory cannot be edited or deleted. A check before saving is designed to leave out passwords, API keys, tokens and anything you say not to save.

Why it's useful
Your agent can keep memories in Walrus Memory, signed in with a wallet, without you hand-setting headers and tokens.
What you could do with it
- Let your agent call its login tool to sign in with your wallet in the browser the first time it needs memory.
- Switch automatic saving of memories on or off from the command line.
- Log out to clear the saved credentials when you no longer want your agent using Walrus Memory.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured
- Data handling disclosed
- finding
- no statement of what it reads, writes or sends (README.md)
Published because it was found. A finding is information about where the limits are, not a verdict that the software is unsafe.
What this does not cover
- Everything. Treat it as you would software from anywhere else.
Receipt history: every signed receipt for every version of this listing, and what changed between them.
In its maker's words
Walrus Memory MCP client — single-binary stdio MCP server that bridges Cursor / Claude Desktop / Antigravity / Claude Code to the Walrus Memory relayer. Handles browser-based wallet login on first run.

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 0.0.14, the file with digest sha512-SpLJN5egbsBgfbOIe9+DlyEPM6g4HjqGiw49867FMWYTm2pcF7f/nI/4SU8Y/ENF33yaywEc34wZz6Hp0/9h+g==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
