Adds Storybook component and story documentation tools to an MCP server you run yourself.
Meterbox MCP
meterbox · MCP server(filed by default)
Meterbox MCP is the Model Context Protocol server for Meterbox. Seven tools cover its API instead of one tool per endpoint: your agent can check its access level, search and describe operations, then run read, create, update or destructive operations, depending on what its key allows. Production keys are read-only over MCP, and operations that handle credentials, set outbound destinations or export data in bulk are left out. It suits teams running Meterbox who want an agent to work with it under limits they set.

Why it's useful
The key you issue decides which tools your agent gets, so it can start with read-only access to Meterbox and be given more only where you choose.
What you could do with it
- Ask your agent which operations your Meterbox key allows and what inputs one of them takes.
- Give your agent a read-only sandbox key and have it run lookups, previews and simulations.
- Use a read-write sandbox key so your agent can create and update records in the sandbox environment.

Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured
What this does not cover
- Everything. Treat it as you would software from anywhere else.
Receipt history: every signed receipt for every version of this listing, and what changed between them.
In its maker's words
Meterbox MCP server: the hosted /mcp endpoint's tools and policy, plus a stdio bridge (npx @meterbox/mcp) for MCP clients that only speak stdio.

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 0.1.19, the file with digest sha512-i+MSqxCLsFDF7zchngN/rp8NUPAvZBtypyLEdWSHIshnLKBnssO4bfo2k5WIC3u/dX0p3xtclEdy1Dtvz3IokA==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.

No build provenance published. The repository above is the one the publisher declared, and nothing links it to the package you would install. That is not a mark against this listing, since most packages are published this way, but it is a check nobody can run.
