MCP Web Validator
akzar1el · MCP server
Gives an AI coding assistant checks for web pages. It validates HTML and XHTML files and public URLs with the W3C Nu HTML Checker and CSS files with the W3C Jigsaw CSS Validator, audits titles, descriptions, canonical tags, headings, image alt text and Open Graph metadata, checks JSON-LD syntax, tests links for breakage and captures screenshots at several viewport sizes. The markup or CSS being checked is submitted to those external W3C services.

Why it's useful
Your assistant can check the pages it writes against the W3C validators and SEO checks as you work, so problems are reported during coding.
What you could do with it
- Validate a local HTML file and get the W3C checker's errors back in the conversation.
- Audit a page's title, description, canonical tag, headings and image alt text for SEO problems.
- Check a page's links for broken ones, then capture mobile and desktop screenshots of it.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 1.3.42, the file with digest sha512-4JhxHemZgmu6tsgXRqmPjVE/mlpLESYTIICak4zPQkWlqG9ChAKdbaLTo5YnO1IXELNnGPPltdKudjeydeOOeQ==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- No auth declared. Its hosted endpoint, as the official MCP registry lists it, does not say it asks for a key. That is what the listing declares, not a finding that it has no protection.
