MCP Media Forge

pavelgu · MCP server

Generates diagrams, charts, HTML pages and slide decks from text descriptions, aimed at AI coding agents that write Markdown documentation. It renders Mermaid, D2 and Graphviz diagrams as SVG or PNG, plus Vega-Lite charts, and builds self-contained HTML pages and slide decks. Each tool returns a relative file path rather than image data, and the same input always gives the same file. A guide tool explains usage and limits for each renderer.

Written by ooruby from the README of mcp-media-forge 0.2.0.

Why it's useful

Your agent can add diagrams, charts and slides to documentation as files generated from text, so you do not draw them by hand.

What you could do with it

  1. 1Ask your agent for a sequence diagram of an OAuth2 flow and embed it in your project docs.
  2. 2Have it generate an HTML page that summarises your API architecture with KPI cards.
  3. 3Build a slide deck from your team's quarterly metrics and an architecture overview.

Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.

Maintenance

Not measured

No release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.

Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured

How far this has been checked

Static scanned

What it establishes
Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
What it does not
How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
Exactly what was read
Version 0.2.0, the file with digest sha512-h4AbSumeTq/JLue15pSRTDBcG6x73uVxULzsP9MElUFRcMe8ifRfBBoF4LgQFcUmWoW1AQbPGs5K9aOfrPxDww==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
Authentication
Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.

The badge, if this is your listing
