MCP Confluence File Based
atoropchin · MCP server
MCP Confluence File Based lets an AI assistant read and edit Confluence pages, including large ones with tables and macros. It saves each page body to a local file in Confluence storage format, lets the assistant edit that file, and publishes it back only if the page version still matches, so concurrent edits by colleagues are not silently overwritten. Other tools create pages, list child pages, move pages, manage labels and upload attachments. Built for Confluence Data Center or on-premise, it needs your Confluence URL and a personal access token.

Why it's useful
Your assistant edits Confluence pages as local files rather than retyping them in chat, so large tables and macros stay out of the conversation.
What you could do with it
- Ask your agent to update the release notes page and publish it only if nobody else has edited it meanwhile.
- Find pages by space, label, title or date, or list the child pages of one page, then add labels.
- Upload a local file as a page attachment, creating a new version when the filename already exists.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 2.0.0, the file with digest sha512-4Cg7MITSNDDRDzCglUzJrgnxXeoIRTG5FbIvJldBk6QDB50kdRvpK/GjIrZfBkjiba+woLNrSHC76JzB1r4rPA==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
