Liveauth Labs MCP Server
liveauth-labs · MCP server
LiveAuth MCP Server lets an agent get access to paid or metered tools. It starts a session, accepts a solved proof-of-work challenge, a paid BOLT11 invoice or an L402 macaroon, and returns a short-lived JWT. It can then meter each call, refresh the token and show remaining budget, calls used and rate-limit windows. The proof-of-work route needs no account, key or wallet. The package can also be imported as an SDK so tool developers can wrap their own MCP tools with per-call pricing in sats and signed receipts.

Why it's useful
Agents can get into metered tools by solving a challenge or paying in sats, and tool builders can charge per call without running user accounts.
What you could do with it
- Start a session, solve the returned proof-of-work challenge and receive a short-lived token with no signup.
- Pay the invoice for a session and poll its status until the payment is confirmed.
- Wrap your own MCP tool in a gate that charges sats per call and records a signed receipt for each paid call.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 1.3.1, the file with digest sha512-kRCra2+vugmmAit/kaeKfoIWqVZQp8D34/2apQsWtteV53na6raZkA/mvy4YBnAzyV7/2nFBJy8P0MrMJgFv0Q==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.

No build provenance published. The repository above is the one the publisher declared, and nothing links it to the package you would install. That is not a mark against this listing, since most packages are published this way, but it is a check nobody can run.
