Email MCP

humanagencyp · MCP server

Email MCP is an email simulator for testing AI agents, built as an MCP server and gated through the Human Agency Protocol. A simulation package of customer cases is loaded as inbox messages, and the agent lists and reads them and writes replies that land in a sent folder. There is no outbound mail transport and no real mailbox. The recorded human answer for each case is never reachable through a tool and appears only in a local export command, so replies can be scored afterwards.

Written by ooruby from the README of @humanagencyp/email-mcp 0.3.0.

Not claimed by its maker. Is this yours? Prove it and answer the findings

Why it's useful

You can test how an agent answers customer requests against a simulated inbox, where no outbound mail transport exists.

What you could do with it

  1. 1Load a package of customer cases into an empty inbox and let your agent read and answer each message.
  2. 2Clear the test data and run the same cases again under a different setup.
  3. 3Export the inbox, sent replies and recorded changes to a file so you can score the agent's replies.

Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.

Maintenance

Not measured

No release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.

Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured

Published because it was found. A finding is information about where the limits are, not a verdict that the software is unsafe.

How far this has been checked

Static scanned

What it establishes
Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
What it does not
How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
Exactly what was read
Version 0.3.0, the file with digest sha512-ANsDq3YulkBrI7GENzk1geK5GDeqXFtRPKTIwlXhfJTQrUvEMVZTK7LEAvVZpJc634yRxdb7cj0Ek7eMr4+fgA==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
Authentication
Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
