Adds Storybook component and story documentation tools to an MCP server you run yourself.
Figma Wire
adhamhaithameid · MCP server
Figma Wire is a bash script that connects an AI coding agent to the Figma Dev Mode MCP server running on your machine. It checks that the server answers before it writes anything, repairs connection settings that have drifted, and can call Figma's six tools from plain bash for agents or jobs with no MCP support. It can also screenshot a design frame and a running page, compare them pixel by pixel and report a pass or fail. A REST fallback for headless machines needs a Figma token.

Why it's useful
Your agent reads the actual spacing, variables and screenshots from Figma instead of guessing how a design should look.
What you could do with it
- Check why your agent cannot reach Figma, then let it re-wire the connection after the server's port moves.
- Paste a Figma share link and get the file key and node ID your agent's Figma tools need.
- Compare a design frame with your running page and get a pass or fail result to gate a CI job on.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured
What this does not cover
- Everything. Treat it as you would software from anywhere else.
Receipt history: every signed receipt for every version of this listing, and what changed between them.
In its maker's words
Wire any AI coding agent to Figma: probe/repair the local Dev Mode MCP server across harnesses (ZCode, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code, Gemini CLI), parse share links, and call Figma MCP tools from plain bash — no MCP client required.

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 1.4.1, the file with digest sha512-3J4PyMhd/Ln3W7+tnEm5NiOIYa6ywNOLrmS8NLzjs8K0s1bQRL3Yi8ukXOkDLvpp7iHt6URWMG166Syi3YZx/g==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.

No build provenance published. The repository above is the one the publisher declared, and nothing links it to the package you would install. That is not a mark against this listing, since most packages are published this way, but it is a check nobody can run.
