Create Agent Room
sipandey6 · Template
Create Agent Room adds a governance folder to a repository so coding agents are held to your rules by hooks rather than polite instructions. A pre-commit hook blocks commits containing patterns such as AWS access keys, and any bypass is logged for review. For Claude Code and Cursor, a stop hook also prompts the agent to record its reasoning. It also adds guardrail settings for secrets, protected paths and file limits, a decisions log, and skills for a Research, Plan, Implement pipeline. Skills kept in one place can be synced to six tool adapters.

Why it's useful
Written rules in an instructions file can be forgotten in a long session, so hooks and guardrails check the agent at commit time and, in Claude Code and Cursor, when it stops.
What you could do with it
- Stage a file containing an AWS access key and watch the pre-commit hook block the commit and log it.
- Keep team skills in one place and sync them to the instruction files of all six supported tools.
- Have the agent research the codebase and write a plan before it implements a feature.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured
- Command execution is bounded
- inventory
- node child_process (README.md:485)
- eval (templates/skill-packs/security/security-principles.md:125)
- eval (templates/skill-packs/code-review/code-review.md:111)
- node child_process (templates/adapters/git-hooks/guardrails-check.js:16)
- An inventory of where the code starts another program, not a verdict on this row: whether each one runs a fixed program or whatever it is handed takes a reading by hand.
- Licence and provenance
- finding
- no LICENCE file at the root (.)
Published because it was found. A finding is information about where the limits are, not a verdict that the software is unsafe.
What this does not cover
- Everything. Treat it as you would software from anywhere else.

In its maker's words
Mechanical agent governance for Claude, Cursor, and CI: stop hooks, guardrails, session lint, and compliance evals — not just AGENTS.md.

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 2.7.0, the file with digest sha512-a6lisHsugj2GY8as/SYJUnGF5FE96Z11qpq2adLncaaFSdRwkWk/lJaT+R/SJGw+llyQn6OXo5cZ+xj3tBMjUA==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
Adding it
Run it with:
npx -y create-agent-room@2.7.0Pinned to 2.7.0, which is the version the findings above were found in. Drop the version to take whatever is newest, and the report on this page stops describing what you installed.

No build provenance published. The repository above is the one the publisher declared, and nothing links it to the package you would install. That is not a mark against this listing, since most packages are published this way, but it is a check nobody can run.
