Code Review MCP Server

orcus0925 · MCP server

Gives your AI assistant a code review workflow for git and GitHub. It runs a diff between your current branch and a base branch, or fetches the diff of a GitHub pull request, and returns it with instructions to review and fix issues. Your agent can add a summary comment or comments on specific changed lines, read a pull request template and create a pull request. Guidelines can come from a local markdown file, from code blocks in a Notion page (which needs a Notion API token), or from built-in defaults.

Written by ooruby from the README of code-review-mcp-server 1.5.3.

Not claimed by its maker. Is this yours? Prove it and answer the findings

Why it's useful

Review feedback lands as comments on the pull request itself, written by your agent against guidelines you choose.

What you could do with it

  1. 1Ask your agent to review your current branch against main and list the issues it finds.
  2. 2Give your agent a GitHub pull request link and have it leave summary and line comments on the pull request.
  3. 3Have your agent create a pull request, with the repository and current branch detected from git.

Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.

Maintenance

Not measured

No release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.

Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured

How far this has been checked

Static scanned

What it establishes
Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
What it does not
How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
Exactly what was read
Version 1.5.3, the file with digest sha512-vNngcamjMJXEzepl6S2zBgHsqYzqsn5MeJpOw+xLNV38SX83Qa/8IJkN+zX2v1TZI2VnA4Eu70v2SOiNMU5efQ==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
Authentication
Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.

The badge, if this is your listing

It renders the current rung (static scanned) and links back here, where what that does and does not establish is one click away. It updates itself as the evidence deepens.
