Adds Storybook component and story documentation tools to an MCP server you run yourself.
Axiom MCP
codai · MCP server
Axiom MCP gives your AI assistant tools to work with AXIOM plans. It validates a plan, compiles it into a content-addressed manifest bundle, verifies and diffs manifests, runs checks, and applies a bundle transactionally to an allowlisted root, with a dry run first, a confirming digest and rollback. Plans too large for one call can be built in chunks. It also lists the allowed roots, reports lock and apply status and snapshots the files under a root.

Why it's useful
Changes can pass through validation, checks, a dry run and rollback around being applied, rather than being written straight into a directory.
What you could do with it
- Ask your agent to validate a plan and compile it into a manifest bundle.
- Preview an apply as a dry run to see the diff, then apply the bundle with its confirming digest.
- Roll back an applied bundle by its manifest digest if the change should be undone.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured

Static scanned
- What it establishes
- Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
- What it does not
- How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
- Exactly what was read
- Version 2.4.0, the file with digest sha512-5UTZBsBQ54ZWigV2EXQGoegWHawgwquOmUornBJ2pmTv68y0t8k+wFsiAr37ofgf5TzNgGilOJgDjcBgvxz+Rg==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
