Lets your agent remember facts in a local SQLite database and recall them later with a plain query.
Busabase
vikainc · Agent
Busabase is an open-source database and workspace for AI agents. It holds typed bases with records, relations, views and forms, plus docs, files, skills, apps, whiteboards and workflows, so agents and people share the same data. Every write travels as a change request with a message, diff and author, and your permissions decide whether it merges at once or waits for review. It has no built-in model, so you connect the agent you already use. It runs locally on an embedded database, or on external Postgres and S3-compatible storage.

Why it's useful
Agent work stops being scattered across chats and files, and you can see what changed and why before it becomes a record.
What you could do with it
- Start a local workspace with demo content and open its dashboard in your browser.
- Install a ready-made workspace app, such as the CRM template, from a GitHub URL.
- Review what an agent changed as field-level diffs and approve the change request.
Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.
Maintenance
Not measuredNo release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.
Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured
What this does not cover
- Everything. Treat it as you would software from anywhere else.
Receipt history: every signed receipt for every version of this listing, and what changed between them.
In its maker's words
Open-source database & workspace for AI agents: structured data, durable knowledge, reusable skills, runnable apps, and human review on the writes that matter. Local-first and self-hostable. Run it with `npx busabase server`.

Publisher verified
- What it establishes
- Whoever published it proved they control the source it comes from.
- What it does not
- Anything about the software. A verified publisher can ship bad code, and this rung says only that the name is real.
- Authentication
- Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
Not read, deliberately. The published package is 94 MB, above the size this scanner reads. Raising the limit would mean reporting a clean scan of a few source files sitting beside a great deal of compiled code nobody here has looked at, which is a worse answer than this one.
How the rungs workAdding it
Run it with:
npx -y busabase@0.95.1Pinned to 0.95.1, which is the version the findings above were found in. Drop the version to take whatever is newest, and the report on this page stops describing what you installed.

The badge, if this is your listing
It renders the current rung (publisher verified) and links back here, where what that does and does not establish is one click away. It updates itself as the evidence deepens.
