Clawrouter

blockrun · Agent

ClawRouter is an LLM router built for autonomous agents. It runs on your machine, scores each request across 15 dimensions and routes it to a suitable model among 82 from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI and DeepSeek. Requests go through the BlockRun gateway. You pay either in USDC from a locally generated wallet using the x402 protocol, or with a card-funded API key from a BlockRun account, and six models need no signup, key or wallet.

Written by ooruby from the README of @blockrun/clawrouter 0.12.282.

Not claimed by its maker. Is this yours? Prove it and answer the findings

Why it's useful

An agent can reach many models through one router and pay as it goes, without a person creating an account or entering a card.

What you could do with it

  1. 1Pin one of the six models that need no signup to try the router without a wallet or key.
  2. 2Sign up with BlockRun, top up by card and mint an API key to use the router for paid models.
  3. 3Let an autonomous agent pay per request in USDC from a wallet generated on your machine.

Written from its documentation: what it says it can do, not what our checks found.

Maintenance

Not measured

No release date is on record for this package yet. The nightly publisher check records one as it reaches each npm package, about once every ten nights.

Release activity only: it says nothing about quality or safety, and a finished small package can be fine without releases. How it is measured

What this does not cover

  • ·Everything. Treat it as you would software from anywhere else.

Corrected after a reading by hand on 2026-10-10

  • No shipped credentials: the automated note “The scan matched 2 credential-shaped strings in the published files. Location withheld pending disclosure to the maker.” was withdrawn. A fixed 23-character filler the update script writes when a provider entry has no key, beside a local base address. Far too short to be a real provider key.
How it was read

In its maker's words

Smart LLM router — save 84% on inference costs. 82 models (6 free). Pay by credit card (API key) or USDC (x402 wallet).

How far this has been checked

Static scanned

What it establishes
Its published package, or for a hosted server its source repository at a recorded commit, was read file by file, without running it, by every check in our current scan.
What it does not
How it behaves when it runs, or anything the scan does not read yet: several rubric checks, the repository's history, and compiled code in folders named dist or build. For a hosted server, that the endpoint runs the code that was read. The ooruby Index sets out exactly what was read.
Exactly what was read
Version 0.12.282, the file with digest sha512-Ti4ZDVfTcKbZvwKEFM6UWXFXw+PgXv4WSzhARtvt1qJEzuiysVxXWugK24gFAI/I68xpKUaZB72ujQIspXDdxg==, as the registry publishes it. A published version cannot be replaced, so this names the same bytes for anyone who checks.
Authentication
Runs locally. No hosted endpoint is listed for this package. You run it on your own machine, so there is no endpoint of ours to authenticate against.
How the rungs work

Adding it

Run it with:

npx -y @blockrun/clawrouter@0.12.282

Pinned to 0.12.282, which is the version the findings above were found in. Drop the version to take whatever is newest, and the report on this page stops describing what you installed.
