The founding cohort pays no commission and gets verification free and a featured place, for six months from the day they join. The end date is recorded against each seller, so the rate stops being zero on the same day the listing stops saying founding.
After that a founding seller is on the standard terms like everybody else. The label is history, not a permanent discount.
It is a term a maker can hold the site to, because the date it ends is written where a sale checks it.
Assuming founding terms are permanent. They run for six months from joining, and the listing says so.
