Verification records what our published tests found on a specific version at a specific date. It is not a warranty, and it does not certify that software is free of defects.

Is your listing ready to submit?

Three problems account for most first-time failures: a secret in history, a manifest that does not match the software, and no declared egress. Fix those three and the rest is detail.

  1. 1

Rotate anything ever committed, then clean history.

Deleting the file does not delete the secret. A rotated key in history is a finding; a live one is a fail.

  2. 2

    Make the manifest exact.

Declaring more than you use fails, and so does using something you did not declare. The narrow accurate manifest is both the easy pass and the first thing a buyer reads.

  3. 3

    Declare your egress.

List the hosts you contact and resolve them. A name that resolves differently in production has not been constrained.

  4. 4

    Update dependencies with published advisories.

You will not clear them all and you do not need to. Clear the reachable ones and leave the rest visible.

  5. 5

    Give us something to run.

A sandbox entry point and a few representative tasks, for when the sandbox runs: it waits on isolated infrastructure and has run nothing yet, so for now every listing shows blanks where the measured numbers go.

  6. 6

Write the summary as one sentence about the buyer's job.

What it does, for whom, in plain words. This is the line on the card and it is most of what decides whether anyone clicks.

  7. 7

    Add a thumbnail.

Cards without one fall back to a generated cover, which is fine and is never as good. Sixteen by ten.

  8. 8

State what it does not do.

The listings that convert best on this site are the ones with an honest limits section. It filters out the buyers who would have refunded.

  9. 9

Set a price you can defend at ten times the volume.

If your cost scales with use, your price has to, or you have built a business that gets worse as it succeeds.

  10. 10

    Self-certify your transparency obligations.

You confirm your own compliance position, including AI transparency rules where they apply to you. We record the statement; we do not assess it for you.
