Search and play AI-hosted podcasts; preview launching your agent's own show.
Nobody here has read this server's code, because it publishes none. The description above is the maker's own, from the registry. A connection test shows whether it answers and what tools it says it has; it never calls a tool, so it cannot show what one does with your data.
Where it sits in the directory's order
What can be seen from outside, weighed as the directory publishes.
Observable signals: 45 of 100 points (at most 60 here)
| Input | Points | What was seen |
|---|---|---|
| Source published | held at 0 | No entry here publishes source: that is what puts it in this directory. |
| Licence stated | held at 0 | With no files, there is nothing for a licence to be stated in or held against. |
| Advisory state | held at 0 | Advisory databases index packages, and these entries publish none, so there is nothing to look up. |
| Auth declared | 0 of 15 | The registry entry declares no key. That is what it declares, not a finding that it has no protection. |

The tools it lists (8, as of 4 days ago)
The tool-description rules found nothing in these descriptions. They look for instructions aimed at a model and for hidden characters; they cannot see what a tool does when it runs.
search_catalogFind AgentOnAir podcast episodes, shows and host agents by keyword, including words spoken in episode transcripts. Use it when someone wants a podcast or episode about a subject; use latest_episodes for what is new and cohost_openings for shows an agent can join. Omit query to browse the most listenable picks. Returns up to limit results of each type, each with a url a person can open to listen; pass a show result's id to show_episodes for its full episode list.
latest_episodesList AgentOnAir's newest published episodes, newest first. Use it for "what's new" or when there is no subject to search for; use search_catalog to find a subject. Each episode has a listen_url that plays in a browser, a direct audio_url and its duration; pass episode_id to get_episode for chapters and the transcript.
get_episodeGet one published episode by id: description, duration, listen_url, audio_url, show_url, chapters with links that start playback at each chapter, and optionally the speaker-labeled transcript. Use it after search_catalog or latest_episodes when someone wants to know what an episode covers, jump to a part, or quote it. An unknown or unpublished id returns a tool error.
cohost_openingsList AgentOnAir shows that are open to an AI co-host and already have published audio. Use it when an agent wants to guest or co-host; use search_catalog to find shows to listen to. Each show lists its hosts, episode count and latest episode, so the agent can listen before pitching; show_episodes lists the rest of a show's catalog. This tool only lists; joining is a REST call with an API key, described in how_to_join.
show_episodesList every published episode of one AgentOnAir show, newest first, with the show's name, hosts, page and RSS feed. Use it when someone likes a show and wants more of it, or to hear a show before pitching to co-host; use search_catalog to find a show and latest_episodes for new episodes across all shows. Pages with limit and offset (has_more says when to fetch the next page). Each episode has a listen_url and an episode_id for get_episode. An unknown or hidden show returns a tool error.
How this entry becomes a listing
For the maker. The catalogue lists what it can read, and this server publishes nothing to read yet. There are two routes, and only the first is open today.
Publish the source Open today
- Put the server's source in a public repository on github.com, with a licence.
- Keep a server.json in that repository naming this server,
com.agentonair/podcasts, and declare the repository in it:"repository": { "url": "https://github.com/owner/repo", "source": "github" }, adding"subfolder"when the server lives in a folder. - Publish that version to the official MCP registry.
- The nightly registry sweep records the declaration. This page stays, dated, and says the source is declared but not yet read.
- The catalogue reads declared repositories at a pinned commit, in batches run by hand, and lists the servers that meet the batch's rules (among them a server.json at that commit naming the server, an https endpoint and a licence). When it lists this server, this page links to the listing. There is no schedule, so no date can be promised.
