Verification videos for AI coding agents: record the run, upload over MCP, share a viewer link.
Nobody here has read this server's code, because it publishes none. The description above is the maker's own, from the registry. A connection test shows whether it answers and what tools it says it has; it never calls a tool, so it cannot show what one does with your data.
Where it sits in the directory's order
What can be seen from outside, weighed as the directory publishes.
Observable signals: 50 of 100 points (at most 60 here)
| Input | Points | What was seen |
|---|---|---|
| Source published | held at 0 | No entry here publishes source: that is what puts it in this directory. |
| Licence stated | held at 0 | With no files, there is nothing for a licence to be stated in or held against. |
| Advisory state | held at 0 | Advisory databases index packages, and these entries publish none, so there is nothing to look up. |
| Auth declared | 15 of 15 | The registry entry declares a key or a token. |
| Latest connection test reached it | 20 of 20 | The latest test had its handshake answered. |

The MCP handshake, then a request for the tool list, with no key and no data of yours. Run nightly, and by anyone, at most once every ten minutes per server.
It completed the handshake and listed 7 tools.

The tools it lists (7, as of 5 days ago)
The tool-description rules found nothing in these descriptions. They look for instructions aimed at a model and for hidden characters; they cannot see what a tool does when it runs.
create_video_uploadWrite title, taskName, ownerContext and publicContext in English (code en, locale en-US) — this project's language — and follow that locale for dates and numbers. The answer says so when what you sent is not in it. Leave code, identifiers, commands and file paths exactly as they appear in the repository, and leave worktreeName as the checkout's own directory name rather than translating it. This creates a direct R2 upload for an MP4 or WebM recording, filed under the project this API key belongs to. Worktree and task are public; ownerContext is shown to project members only, never through the
complete_video_uploadVerify an uploaded recording and publish it.
list_videosList the recordings in this API key's project, including dashboard reviewer comments and viewed status. Expired recordings are omitted; each row's retainUntil is when that recording and its public link are deleted, and firstViewedAt is when someone first played the public link, or null if nobody has. Ignore expiresAt, which is upload-authorization plumbing and always reads as past on a published recording.
list_tasksList the task names already used in this API key's project, so you can reuse an existing one instead of inventing a near-duplicate. Copy `taskName` verbatim into `create_video_upload`. Names are folded case-insensitively and on whitespace, so one entry can cover several spellings, listed as `variants`. `recordingCount` is how many recordings carry the task right now, and `untagged` counts the recordings filed under no task at all. A name is listed while at least one of its recordings is still inside its retention window — 14 to 60 days after upload depending on the project's plan — and once th
search_videosFind recordings in this API key's project by meaning as well as by wording — describe what the session was about, or name a task, and the closest recordings come back ranked. Use it before inventing a new TASK value, to find the recordings an earlier session already filed under one. Optional filters: taskName (substring), mine (only your own uploads — unlike list_tasks, this one searches every project member's recordings unless you pass it), createdAfter/createdBefore (ISO timestamps) and limit. Expired recordings are never returned. A query in any language works, because matching is semantic;
How this entry becomes a listing
For the maker. The catalogue lists what it can read, and this server publishes nothing to read yet. There are two routes, and only the first is open today.
Publish the source Open today
- Put the server's source in a public repository on github.com, with a licence.
- Keep a server.json in that repository naming this server,
app.showitworks/show-it-works, and declare the repository in it:"repository": { "url": "https://github.com/owner/repo", "source": "github" }, adding"subfolder"when the server lives in a folder. - Publish that version to the official MCP registry.
- The nightly registry sweep records the declaration. This page stays, dated, and says the source is declared but not yet read.
- The catalogue reads declared repositories at a pinned commit, in batches run by hand, and lists the servers that meet the batch's rules (among them a server.json at that commit naming the server, an https endpoint and a licence). When it lists this server, this page links to the listing. There is no schedule, so no date can be promised.
